The project is being developed under the state’s Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy (4.0), which aims to attract large-scale investments and promote advanced manufacturing industries. As part of the policy, the project has been granted a customized package of incentives designed to encourage investment and accelerate implementation.
Among the key benefits extended to the project are capital subsidies and a 100 percent exemption from electricity duty for a period of ten years. These incentives are expected to significantly reduce operational costs and enhance the project’s long-term viability. Industry observers believe the NPSPL project will generate substantial employment opportunities for local youth, attract ancillary industries, and contribute to the economic growth of the region. The initiative is also expected to strengthen the electronics manufacturing ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh by encouraging innovation, technology adoption, and industrial expansion.
