According to him, house thefts used to happen in the vicinity of Palamaneru and Bangarupalyam mandals. Cases were registered based on the complaints of the victims. Seeing them, three people tried to flee. When they were caught and interrogated, they admitted that they used to commit thefts in locked houses during the day. They committed thefts in Gouripuram, Veluthurachenu, Ragimanupenta in Bangarupalyam mandal and Karidimadugu, Chinnakunta and Kalvapalle villages in Palamaneru mandal. 181.5 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs. 24 lakh, 307 grams of silver items worth Rs. 80 thousand, a Sift Dzire car worth Rs. 2.5 lakh and a scooter worth Rs. 50 were seized from them, the DSP said. The accused have been identified as Godwin Moss (33), his followers Murugan (37) and Vignesh (26) from Vaniyambadi, Tamil Nadu. He said that several cases have been registered against them in Andhra and Tamil Nadu states. He said that a case has been registered against them under various sections and they have been sent to remand. The DSP commended the police teams that cracked the case and seized the property and presented them with a cash reward.
