Recycling solutions from Amman India

Road construction equipment manufacturer Amman India has introduced advanced recycling technologies aimed at transforming the road construction sector and reducing dependence on imported raw materials. Speaking about the initiative, Managing Director Dheeraj Panda said that the company has launched innovative solutions for recycling asphalt (bitumen), a key material widely used in road construction projects across the country. Panda explained that recycling existing asphalt not only promotes sustainable infrastructure development but also helps reduce the financial burden associated with importing bitumen and other construction materials. By reusing valuable resources already available in old road surfaces, construction companies can significantly lower project costs while minimizing environmental impact. He noted that the adoption of recycling technologies is gaining momentum in the road construction industry. According to Panda, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together currently have more than 300 asphalt plants operated by various road and infrastructure companies. Encouragingly, nearly 25 percent of these plants have already been upgraded or modified to support modern asphalt recycling technologies. The introduction of these advanced recycling systems is expected to improve resource efficiency, reduce construction expenses, and support the government’s efforts toward sustainable and environmentally responsible infrastructure development. Industry experts believe that wider adoption of asphalt recycling could play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and cost-effectiveness of future road projects across the country.
